Is this the same module as P&L / Expenses in the product?

Yes. The page is based on the live P&L / Expenses module in the demo account. It uses the same structure: income statement, KPI cards, OPEX by category, OPEX by location, period filters and expense rows.

Do we need accounting data before the P&L becomes useful?

Revenue can start from POS data. COGS, OPEX, payroll, rent and supplier costs become stronger when accounting, ERP or structured expense exports are connected. marql can also start with CSV or spreadsheet uploads.

Can we filter P&L by store and period?

Yes. The product supports all stores or a single location, preset ranges, custom start and end dates, and comparison against the previous period.

How does this connect to AI Copilot?

The Copilot reads the same P&L context. Operators can ask which store has the lowest margin, why OPEX moved, or which cost category is driving the gap, then move from the answer into the module.
