AI supply employeeStore order drafts, ready each morning.

Its KPI is shelf availability. Each morning it checks how many days of stock each store has left for each product, then drafts store orders, vendor orders and transfers between stores, with the reason written on every line. It has to stay inside your limits on days of cover, write-offs and the purchase budget.

L1 · Advises

From stock count to order draft.

Each draft is built from your stock, sales and delivery dates.

Reads stock and sales

At 06:00 it reads stock, sales and incoming deliveries for every store and product it covers.

Drafts the orders that are due

Each order line shows today's days of cover, the next delivery date and whether the item runs out before that delivery arrives.

Checks the order went in

After you accept, it looks for the order in your ERP and counts it as done only once it finds it there.

How it gets more authority.

  1. L0

    Observes

Works in the background and shows nothing yet.

  2. L1

    Advises

Proposes and gives its reasons. A person decides and acts.

  3. L2

    Prepares

Prepares a draft, such as an order, a promo plan or a store task. A person approves it and enters it.

  4. L3

    Executes after confirmation

After one confirmation from a person, the document goes into your ERP.

Opens after 4 weeks of drafts with few corrections and a passed exam on a retail simulator. Needs e:corg 2.0 as your ERP.

  5. L4

    Executes within limits

Works inside a budget and rules you set. Anything outside them comes back to you.

Needs the same exam and a budget you set.

Levels are set for each type of action, so one employee can prepare store orders while it only advises on vendor orders. Only the owner or COO raises a level, one step at a time. After three guardrail breaches in a row the level drops by one automatically, and stale data puts an employee back to advising.

The orders and transfers it drafts.

The level is set separately for each of these.

Store orders

Transfers from your warehouse and in-store production.

Advises, then prepares the draft. Executing it needs e:corg 2.0 and a passed exam on the retail simulator.

Vendor orders

Purchases from suppliers.

Advises, then drafts the purchase order. Executing it also needs e:corg 2.0 and the simulator exam.

Rebalancing

Moving extra stock from one store to another.

Advises, then prepares the transfer for a person to approve.

What it won't do to fill shelves.

These hold at every level.

  • It does not fill shelves by adding days of cover, accepting higher write-offs or going over the purchase budget.

  • If the books show stock but the item has not sold for three days, it holds the order and asks the AI operations manager for a shelf check.

  • It never raises its own level.

Questions about AI employees

It prepares them, and a person approves and enters each one. With e:corg 2.0, a confirmed order can be created in e:corg itself once the executing level is open for your account.

If the AI marketer proposes a markdown on an item, the supply employee sees 'do not reorder' on that item, and you see the conflict before you decide.

Sales and stock per store and product from your POS or ERP. If you add supplier lead times, its drafts come closer to what you would order yourself.
