marql

AI buyerVendor orders, ready on each order day.

It orders from your vendors every morning: the warehouse's purchase and the vendors' deliveries straight to the stores, on each vendor's order days. Its KPI is shelf availability, the same as the AI supply employee's. Once you hire it, vendor orders move to it, and the supply employee keeps the stores' orders from the warehouse and transfers between stores. It stays inside your limits on days of cover, write-offs and the purchase budget.

L1 · Advises

From the order calendar to a purchase order.

It works to each vendor's order days as well as to your stock.

Finds today's order days

At 06:00 it reads stock, sales and incoming deliveries, and picks out the vendors you order from today.

Drafts the vendor order

It drafts the warehouse's purchase and the vendor's deliveries straight to the stores, with the reason written on every line.

Checks the order went in

After a person approves it, it looks for the order in your ERP and counts it as done only once it finds it there.

How it gets more authority.

  1. L0

    Observes

Works in the background and shows nothing yet.

  2. L1

    Advises

Proposes and gives its reasons. A person decides and acts.

  3. L2

    Prepares

Prepares a draft, such as an order, a promo plan or a store task. A person approves it and enters it.

  4. L3

    Executes after confirmation

After one confirmation from a person, the document goes into your ERP.

Opens after 4 weeks of drafts with few corrections and a passed exam on a retail simulator. Needs e:corg 2.0 as your ERP.

  5. L4

    Executes within limits

Works inside a budget and rules you set. Anything outside them comes back to you.

Needs the same exam and a budget you set.

Levels are set for each type of action, so one employee can prepare store orders while it only advises on vendor orders. Only the owner or COO raises a level, one step at a time. After three guardrail breaches in a row the level drops by one automatically, and stale data puts an employee back to advising.

The orders it takes over.

Store orders from the warehouse and transfers between stores stay with the AI supply employee.

Vendor orders

The warehouse's purchase from vendors, and vendor deliveries straight to the stores.

Starts as an advisor. At the Prepares level it drafts the purchase order, and a person approves every order. Executing needs e:corg 2.0 and a passed exam on the retail simulator.

What it won't do to keep shelves stocked.

These hold at every level.

  • It never sends an order to a vendor itself.

    A person approves every order.

  • It does not keep shelves stocked by adding days of cover, accepting higher write-offs or going over the purchase budget.

  • It never raises its own level.

Questions about AI employees

No. It prepares the purchase order, and a person approves every order. With e:corg 2.0 an approved order goes into e:corg as a draft. With any other ERP, your team enters it.

Once you hire a buyer, vendor orders move to it. The supply employee keeps the stores' orders from the warehouse and transfers between stores. If you do not hire a buyer, the supply employee keeps vendor orders as before.

It works in one family with the AI supply employee: a vendor order counts when the shelves stay stocked, inside the same limits on days of cover, write-offs and the purchase budget.
