AI operations directorThe team's work, ranked in one brief.

It answers for how much of the team's work gets decided. It writes a daily and a weekly brief that ranks what to decide first. When two employees clash, for example over an order for an item that is being delisted, it settles the conflict. It does not write to your ERP or change anyone's level.

Hours to a decision

Starts as

L1 · Advises

How the brief is put together.

Its input is what the other employees prepared.

Collects the team's work

It gathers what the other employees prepared overnight, with the money at stake on each item.

Settles conflicts

If an order is drafted for an item on clearance, or a promotion has no stock behind it, the conflict goes first, with the lines that clash.

Writes the brief

It writes a short ranked list of what to decide first for the owner and COO, every day and every week.

How it gets more authority.

  1. L0

    Observes

Works in the background and shows nothing yet.

  2. L1

    Advises

Proposes and gives its reasons. A person decides and acts.

  3. L2

    Prepares

Prepares a draft, such as an order, a promo plan or a store task. A person approves it and enters it.

  4. L3

    Executes after confirmation

After one confirmation from a person, the document goes into your ERP.

Opens after 4 weeks of drafts with few corrections and a passed exam on a retail simulator. Needs e:corg 2.0 as your ERP.

  5. L4

    Executes within limits

Works inside a budget and rules you set. Anything outside them comes back to you.

Needs the same exam and a budget you set.

Levels are set for each type of action, so one employee can prepare store orders while it only advises on vendor orders. Only the owner or COO raises a level, one step at a time. After three guardrail breaches in a row the level drops by one automatically, and stale data puts an employee back to advising.

Its two jobs.

It acts only on the other employees' pending proposals.

Team brief

Daily and weekly, for the owner and COO.

Always advice.

Arbitration

Conflicts between employees' pending proposals.

At the Prepares level it may put a pending proposal on hold. It cannot act in the ERP or change a level.

What stays with the owner and COO.

They keep the levels and the final say.

  • It does not write to your ERP.

  • It does not change an employee's level.

It may suggest a change, and the owner or COO decides.

  • It may not raise acceptance by letting decisions take longer.

Hours to a decision is its guardrail.

Questions about AI employees

It ranks their work and settles conflicts by set rules. Levels and decisions stay with the owner and COO.

What to decide first, ranked by the money at stake and how long it has been waiting.

It becomes useful once two or more employees cover the same stores, because that is when their proposals can clash.
